Hey everyone, thanks for reading. This is what's going on.

The beginning: six weeks ago 2 pimple like bumps appeared on the shaft of my penis. They were raised, flesh colored and about 1mm in diameter. There wasn't any pain, discomfort or itching at first. But when these things didn't heal fast enough showering would irritate them. So I went to see my doc and had a culture swab performed. I was really worried that this was herpes, but I shouldn't worry cuz i've been married for 3 years...Right? Well anyway the analysis came back negative for hsv, but positive to strep bacteris which is kinda weird, but my doctor said strep is a common skin contaminate. So I was offered a antibiotic prescription, but declined...Simply because I had healed on my own by that time.

Now: 5-6 weeks later and hear I am, with the same damn symptoms. This time 3 bumps have appeard out of nowhere. No pain, no itching, no aching...Nothing. If I hadn't looked down, I wouldn't have even noticed they were there. By day 2 the tops of these things have dried up and darkened like scabs. It just annoys me that they showed up again. So guys, in your opinion...Could this be:

1. The same infection that never truly went away, since I didn't go for antibiotics.
2. A new infection, caused by yeast bacteria? I say this because my wife recently complained of yeast infection symptoms.

I'm going to try to make another appointment with my doc, the only problem is i'm unemployed now and lost my medical benefits. I guess i'll just bite the bullet and charge it or something. Any ideas, experiences or tips?

It's prob. The same and you both need to be treated at the same time! Strep if highly contagious. Take the meds even after the symptoms go away, if you don't, you're headed right back to the same problem.
