Hi, I too have had pneumonia several times and it has to be treated as you need treatment to cure it.I have had flu injections to try to keep it away but there are so many different kinds I still caught flu which became pneumonia so I have now been given the pneumonia jab to see if this works.Once you have pneumonia you can be prone to getting it so it is better to get protected.Hope this helps kaz.
