Hi
i'm a 38 yr old female and have never had back problems before now.
For about 2 months, i've been getting a sharp pain in my lower back when I stand up or walk for a long ways (in the mall). Especially on brick or stone floors. When this happens, I try to sit down but it seems that my back is so tight it won't allow me to bend my back. Very stiff. So i'll slowly try to sit and then it will ease up a bit. But this happens every time I walk or stand. And now i'm starting to feel a bit of pain (aggrravation)even when I sit down. Any thoughts?

..Assuming that your "upper half is not bigger than a c-cup, and there was no physical activity that initiated the discomfort you might consider a weight gain as an issue or a new type of shoe that you just started wearing?
