Q: Skipped Two Periods On the Pill, Brown Discharge

I have been on the pill for 8 months, and my bf also pulls out everytime.
I skipped my last two periods on purpose b/c of timing and conveinance reasons, and never had any problems with spotting or breakthrough bleeding. I am 3 days from the inactive week of my pills (mircette), but about 5 days from when my period would usually start. However, the past week I have been having brownish/bloody mucusy discharge and just started getting cramps (the cramps are normal pms symptoms for me). I'm worried b/c everything I read says that this type of discharge the week before your period is a sign of pregnancy. I'm wondering though if it could be related to not having a period for a while and a buildup of lining.
I have also been under a lot of stress lately due to moving across the country for a new job and figuring things out with the serious relationship I am in right now.

Discharge
Could mean a lot of things, stds (gon. Can cause bleeding between periods)...Pill won't protect you if your boyfriend was carrying anything
i have read that even as little as 4 periods per year isn't posing any problems for most women, no "buildup" problems
women bear the brunt of upkeep and maintenance, you must go to your gyn, if you call her she's going to ask you come in most likely...For anything out of the ordinary, it may inspire some needed changes, at least get the immediate problem fixed
take care, nothing's ever as bad as it seems or as good as it seems, things usually work out for the best...
