I was wondering if anyone can tell me how long it takes for dissolvable stitches to dissolve, I have 3 small cuts from a laparascopic surgery and have never been stitched before so i'm unsure has to how long they should last, any info would be very welcome

Not Too Long...

I had surgery once on my stomach and they did disappearing stitches (also called butterfly stitches) they are supposed to go away in 2-3 weeks. They usually dont inhibit your ability to do anything, and are much better than the other kind. Hope this helps!
