"about one third of women with diabetes will experience an inability to achieve orgasm as the result of nerve damage 4 to 6 years after diagnosis. Unfortunately the nerve damage is permanent. Source: masters and johnson on sex and human loving page 512."

a pretty scary thing to have to look forward to. Normally, I never have a problem in this area, but, I had some difficulty reaching orgasm for a few months before I was diagnosed with borderline diabetes in 1997. Thank goodness it cleared up after I got my diet under control. Could it happen again and become permanent if my diabetes gets worse?

Anyone have any experience with this or know more about it?

I'm really concerned.
