I started taking orthotricyclen low on june 18th, on the day that I started my period. I just took my third sugar pill and I still haven't started my period. Since, normally I wouldn't start for another two weeks is my body still on the old shedule? Will I have some bleeding in about two weeks when I would have had my period, but not really start my period until my next set of sugar pills? Hm... Does this mean no real period this month? Yay... Well, thanks in advance for any information at all.

If you started on the 18th, how are you already on your sugar pills?
It takes a month or two to really get your cycle used to being on pills.. Technically you aren't late yet since I wouldn't normally get mine until the end of the 3rd day of sugar pills, but it's possible you won't get it and get spotting later on.

Hmm.. Maybe it was the 11th of june... But yeah I took my fourth sugar pill today... Still no period. I guess you are right, it'll probably be a little while before my body gets used to the pills. Thanks for the reply.

I just posted something identical to this! I'm on my third day, and I don't have my period yet, and it's my first month too!

Is it normal to not get your period, or to have it come later? When I took the pills when I was younger (16, i'm 20 now) I always started on the day of the first sugar pill.

Well, on the day when i'd be taking my 5th sugar pill (i take them at 10pm every night) I started. It lasted until the day that I would be taking my 2nd white pill. I still had pretty bad cramping the first day of my period, like I always do. I'm hoping that will slack off some as the months go by and I keep on the pill. Thanks for the help, though everyone. (sorry I can't give much advice though, since this is just my first month and time ever taking the pill.)
