Mucus Plug? Posted: 07-05-05 17:46pm


My sister is 26 weeks +1 pregnant, about a month ago she noticed she was loosing some of the white membrane (that you usually loose just before labor starts).. And now every time she goes to the bathroom there is still some leaking out... Is this normal or is it a sign of early labour? Should she contact doc asap?

That sounds more like the discharge you start getting further along then the mucous plug. The mucous plug is usually greenish or bloody.
