Q: Bright Red Blood With Stool Today>>

Today, I had some bright red blood mixed in with the outside of the stool, not actually in the stool. I usually don't get blood in my stool unless I have been pushing to hard or a little constipated, but I was not either today. Should I worry, or does this sound like a benign condition. I ate alot yesterday, perhaps I irritated my stomach. Please help.

I know someone that has the saem problem it should be gone soon or like in 12 days. But the person I know usually sits for long periods of time and gets a little constipated.

the blood could be from a tear in the rectum i was told only to worry if the blood in faeces is dark like tar or coffee beans
