Q: Increased Urination

For the past one week or so.. I have started taking on the medication metolazone for the problems of increased urination. However all of a sudden I have developed an increased thirst of water, which is concerning me particularly for a couple of reasons, primarily this is the winter season and the need of water is less and secondly if I consume a lot of water then instinctively I have to be a regular visitor of the bathroom. Has anyone encountered similar problems?
