I can only speak from my experiences,
i have only had about 4 panic attacks in 9 years so in this I am lucky! I feel also like im gonna faint sometimes, but I usually try to ignore that!
One thing I do know from a student nurse friend of mine is; "the body will fight and fight to keep you breathing and conchious, this is its primary function".

u havent fainted! U dont know what if feels like? So u scare of the unknown?
I have fainted before years ago in an accident!, I felt dizzy and just fell to me knees, it lasted seconds and I sat around for a while, and amazingly picked myself up and just walked away!
