Hello, my son woke up last week with what I thought were mosquito bites on his leg, the left one and in a line from his knee to his ankle, the next day he was playing in the sprinkler and I had to stop him because they looked really red, they had turned into blisters, and they all broke, it is really gross. So the next day I called the dr and she said that a lot of mothers are calling in with bug bites on children. And I explained that they were gross and blistering and all that and she said to put on neosporen, my son says they dont itch or hurt. Then my middle son has one on his left thigh, and my youngest has one on his inner right thigh. No one can tell me what they are?? Has anyone had these. My husband nor I have had any. What is that??? I just saw a thing on the news about bed bugs, but anything I gooogle, nothing says what exactally a bite looks like, none of them say anything about blisters, and I took their beds apart and found nothing?!!! Any help would be greatful, thanx!!!

I use balm 911 and I just enjoy it. They say it helps against acne, pimples, and sunburns. I verified it - it's true. It's autumn now, so i'll wait for the next summer season to check its work against bites

Oh my, I have the same thing marylb, and ive been looking all over online to see what it is and I cant seem to find anything on these bites.

Well for me I think it happened ever since I pulled out an old shirt out of my drawer and wore it to sleep. Either that or I was thinking bed bugs. My bug bites just keep multiplying and sometimes I just get one here and there. They look like mosquito bites and some look like spider bites and some of them are small and red and some are big. After a couple days some of the bites get white head looking on the tip, but they dont itch at all.

Mostly on my thigh and stomach, but I get some on my calves, and arms and recently I just got it on my behind.
I seriously dont know what to do, and im going to see the dermatologist next week but honestly I dont think theyre going to know anything.

Also ive been cleaning my sheets all my clothes and putting insect bombs in my room but it doesnt seem to help. My boyfriend got one bite with me sleeping with him but its been three weeks and he hasnt gotten any since, I usually sleep at home with my parents but they never get any. I keep getting them come on bug bite specialists!! Helppp!

"if anyone knows anything pleaseeeeeee let me know"""

I have a 20 month old son. Last halloween he broke out on his arm is what my family thought was chicken pox. I took him to the doc the next day and was told he was bitten by a spider. About 5 days later he began to break out some where else. 2-3 days later, again, he had new bites; and so on and so forth for many more weeks. We went back to the doc 3 or times between nov. 1 and valentines day. Finally he sent me to the derm, who said "bug bites, possibly bird mites." he was doing pretty good for several months (april- the end of july) but now all the sudden it's starting again. He literally has more than 30 popped, blistered, "bites". I think there's something that the doctors aren't looking at. I remember last year, as well as this year that he started to get crabby and irritable just before the problem started up. He also starts to randomly throw-up his meals. I'm at a loss as to what to do. Anyone have any good ideas? I'm willing to try just about anything at this point if it will make it stop. I'm embarrassed to let people see his legs in public. I feel like people will think he gets completely neglected.

Bed bug info
Same problem here. My son is 21 months old and a couple of days ago I noticed a couple of, what looked like, mosquito bites on his bottom. I thought it was kind of strange but didn't think much more about it. Then yesterday I noticed that there were more "bites" on his bottom and upper legs. Today they are on his arms, legs, and even his toes. I am not sure what they are but he does not act like he is having any discomfort. I work at an apartment complex and have seen what bed bug bites look like. According to the pest control company, bed bugs hide in the crevices of the mattress and will typically bite it's host in the same area each night. If you suspect a bed bug issue, I would suggest looking up pictures online and check the crevices and corners of your mattress. If it is confirmed, THROW THE MATTRESS AWAY. These things are VERY hard to get rid of and can even get into electronics as small as cell phones! I am no expert but this is just what I have learned from the horrible experience we had with a residents apartment that was taken over by the bugs. I do not believe that this is what is going on with my son, however, so if anyone has any idea's please do tell.

I have had the same problem.. about 3 weeks ago.. i was sitting in the grass with some friends and then the next morning i noticed what looked like a spider bite. a swollen welt on my lower stomach.. it was there for a few days.. and then i got another one on the other side same spot. and recently i just have been getting more.. they go away and another one comes. I just keep putting neosporin and a band-aid on them. But I have tried looking up everything i can think of because i don't have insurance to go to a doctor. Anyone find anything out about these mysterious bites? please let me know. thanks
