Diabetes Forum - Using Lantus Instead of Pump to Go Swimming, Need Some Info.

I am a type 1 diabetic on the pump. I want to know if there's anyone out there who has been on the pump and decided to use lantus to replace the pump for a day or so to go swimming or whatever. I would like to know how it worked for you and if it made your sugar go too low or too high.
