Q: Ruptured Eardrums? Help Needed
asked by: apoder on July 3rd, 2005

I was cleaning my ears with a q tip today and accidentally pushed it too far down the ear. Now when I tilt my head sideways I get this sharp pointy sensation. I can't hear as well from my ear anymore and the same goes whenever I speak. Sounds seem to be more audible on my normal ear. Is this serious?

Well a good rule of thumb is if its larger than your elbow, don't put it in your ear. Never put q- tips in the ear, theu are only for thte outer section. I think you should see an ent Dr. And tell them so they can see what is wrong. I hope you feel better, take care, keep me posted on how you are doing.

But if you see a Dr. As soon as possible, the faster you can get relief from the pain and if something is realy wrong, the faster it can be fixed...
