i have had abdominal pain that wakes me up
after about 6 hours of sleep almost daily
for 4 years. The pain has gotten
progressively worse over the years. The
pain starts near my belly button, and
affects almost my whole abdominal area.
It hurts mainly when I breathe in and out.
When I stand up and get out of bed, it's
basically gone. I usually have not had
problems with this during the day.
Recently though I have. Last week the
pain was there during the day and I had a
sharp pain in my right side accompanying
it. Now for the last two days, I have
had the pain I usually have in the early
morning (which is pretty severe) during
the day. My whole abdominal area is very
tender, sore and bruised feeling. Moving
around makes it worse, also taking deep
breaths.
Any ideas? One doctor said it was gerd,
but medicine did not do anything.
Another ibs, but again, medicine did not
help. I am sick of having this pain, and
it's getting progressively worse,
especially since i'm having severe pain
during the day. Any ideas?

Maybe it's gallblader stones or something
in that nature. I would talk to a dr so
that they can look into that. I hope your
pain goes away soon!

When you say the pain is on the rightside,
and affects the whole adomen,
and its tender, and painful like bruised
feeling,, that sounds like a gallbladder
problem, but when you say that you have
pain by your belly button sounds like a
whole different problem, don't know you
should have your doctor do an altrasound,
and some blood tests to check your liver
count.
I had my gallbladder out a few months ago,
cause I was having pains bad pains, like
heartattack pains, and I couldn't eat
would throw up, and was getting
dehydrated, and I went to hospital, and my
surgen had to remove my gallbladder
rightaway.
U may have gall stones, whick blocks the
bile from getting through, usually the
pain occurs after a meal, mainly after a
fatting meal, cause the gallbladder stores
bile to help break down fat,
but the belly button pain sounds like
something else, or maybe something else
that connected to a gallbladder
problem....
Talk to your doctor,
and if pain is worse call 911 don't be
scared to call them,
get help right away.
If your doc won't help find another
one.......
Mine was so willing to help me, I didn't
even want to stay at the hospital and be
begged me to stay cause if I didn't I
would have died.
Glad I stayed now.............
Hope this helps...............
