I don't know what to do. I fell almost 4 yrs ago and broke my sacrum. Since then i've had severe bruising in lower back, swelling at sacrum, pain down left leg like siatica, pain down the back and legs like fibromyalgia, pain in the hip joint like si joint disease...But in six months of seeing a specialist, I still have no answers. I'm on lortab 10 x 3 daily and two differnt muscle relaxants 1 is x3 daily, the other x4. And my pain scale stays a consistant 4 at the lowest. I'm never not in any pain. I've been put on antidepressants cause i've had pain so long doc thinks it has messed with my mind. All I want is a right answer and if possible, no pain.

Any ideas

Sounds like you are under-treated for pain. With the diagnosis and symptoms you are showing, the doc would be wise to remove you from a tylenol based medicine and put you on a long acting med with lortab/vicodan for breakthrough pain.

Currently I am using the duagesic 25 mcg/hr patch q72 hours and percocet 10/325 for breakthrough pain along with flexeril 10mg 3xs a day and motrin 800 3xs a day. I am not capable of staying at a constant 4 or 5 for pain and sometimes I actually get a decent nights sleep.

Another treatment that I use is the lidoderm patch 12hours on 12 hours off. When you first begin to use it, it wont appear to be doing much but as time wears on, you will be very pleasently surprised as to how well they help to keep the super sharp stabbing pain at bey!

Good luck and keep us informed as to how you do.
