H I the - I am new here and come from brisbane australia. I am writning as I kinow a young fellow - and strangely I received a booklet from the us ep foundation. It outlined many wariants - but the one that amazed me was myoclonic. I know a young fellow and he can stare atr a computer screen for 40 minuts and not move. His facial muscles twitch - and there aresome other symptoms . I reaaly wonder whether he has this . I have peteit mals - - used to have grand mals - and my mum has the occasional absence status - - and grand mal. I am sure - this young bloke may have myoclonic - and I tried to get a duplicate of the book after that one was lost but to noa avail. Can any body help . Thanks . Peter

You can find info on seizures types at www.Efa.Org and go to answerplace

you can also go to www.Epilepsy.Com for epilepsy 101 basic info....

Facial twitches would not be myoclonic, but can be part of complex partials....Or simple partials ....No idea what the young man is having without seeing....
