Why are so many threads being locked? It's a big disincentive to post - why bother getting involved in a thread when chances are it will be locked?

Because this is a debate board, and pretty much everyone that comes on here can't go one post without calling someone "trashy" or a "scumbag."

Why not just ban the certain persons that have gotten out of control, I myself would like to see this keep going and I try to watch my mouth even if I change the subject or try to avoid posting to some that I have a difficult time tolerating and I admit, I have cursed too, some of the good older people might come back also.
Abortion is a right and a choice and should not be taken away. Just like voting.
Sincerely,
sandy
