Hello all, my dh and I recently started ttc and I have a concern. I have anxiety and I am trying to find out if the physical symptoms of my anxiety will harm the baby in anyway? My physical symptoms are..Heart palpitations and a "shocking", "startling" feeling thru out my entire body. Each symptom only lasts a second when I experience them.

Looking forward to replies!

I too had anxiety and I am 34 weeks pregnant now. If you have anxiety it is something to look into see about taking care of with a doctor. For me it caused me to have really high blood pressure, which does cause a problem with pregnant, and worrying a lot also isn't good for the baby. Once I cut out some of the many worries I had in my life I got better and I was put on blood pressure pills also to help me out. It isn't good for the baby but let your doctor know your situation if you become pregnant and he will take care of any necessary treatments. Also, having anxiety can make ttc take a longer period of time. It ended up taking me 4 years and when I started getting treated for it I became pregnant not long afterwards. Hope that helps! Take care.
