You can't lose weight the right way in under a week, you may lose about 3-5 pounds if you work really hard (by exercising and dieting), but that's all. Plus, if you did starv yourself - besides gaining more weight - you'd have to continue to starv yourself the entire trip, that way, you did lose some weight... But at a very high cost. Plus, I would expect that you would go with other people, so they might suspect something... Don't worry about your weight though, i'm in the same situation - body wise - as you are, so if it's just for one trip, wieghing a bit more than you would like won't hurt.
