Q: Please Help Me!!!

Ok im a girl im 14 im 5ft7 or 8 and I weigh 143 im going on a trip in about a week and I need to loose weight realllllllllly fast! Im thinking about starving for 5 days but I know its bad and I heard ur body stores fat and releases it and then you just end up gaining more weight.What should I do and id like to be at least 132 when I leave for the trip. :?

You can't lose weight the right way in under a week, you may lose about 3-5 pounds if you work really hard (by exercising and dieting), but that's all. Plus, if you did starv yourself - besides gaining more weight - you'd have to continue to starv yourself the entire trip, that way, you did lose some weight... But at a very high cost. Plus, I would expect that you would go with other people, so they might suspect something... Don't worry about your weight though, i'm in the same situation - body wise - as you are, so if it's just for one trip, wieghing a bit more than you would like won't hurt.

Drink a lot of water, exercise, and make sure you eat breakfast. Lay off the carbs in the week you are trying to lose the weight.

It sounds to me like you are already pretty skinny!!! 5 foot 8 145lbs...That's great. I am 5 foot 6 and I weigh about 170lbs and my goal weight is 145. I bet you look great...And if you do want to lose weight..Do it in a healthy way!!!
