Q: Need Advice About the Pill!

I am 18 years old. I know hardly anything about menstrual cycles and nothing about sex and the like. I am interested in taking the pill to regulate my periods. I have to know if there is a physical examination required to qualify for birth control pills.

Anyone who has any advice or information about what goes on in gynecology offices or just about how you get birth control pills, I would great appreciate it!

If you can I would go to your doctor and tell them your having irregular periods and say you would like to go on birth control, which is what they probably will suggest anyways, if you cant go to your normal doctor, or need to keep it from the parentals, then I would call planned parenthood, they can set you up with some pills its really simple, check out their webiste plannedparenthood.Com and find the nearest clinic to you. Good luck! :)
