Q: Kinda Gross....

Good morning ladies! Ok, so I have a few questions and one is kinda gross. First of all, how long did it take you all to get pregnant? My husband and I have been trying for 3 months now and nothing yet. Sad next... When ever we try to get pregnant, I have him on top and then I stay lying down for about 1/2 hour so that his "stuff" will stay in me. Anyway, most of the time when I get up, his "stuff" comes dripping out of me. Embarassed is this normal for it to always come out after, or is this only happening to me? If any of you could help, that would be great!!
Greatly appreciated ~regina

It can take a normal healthy couple up to a year to conceive. Relax and try to enjoy sex rather than having baby making sex. Hard to do, I know. It is a good idea to have your husband on top and I have heard to have him leave his penis in for a minute or two after ejaculating. Lying down for 15minutes is enough. It is not uncommon for semen to leak out. When your own mucous is fertile (wet and stretchy usually seen after going poop) it will hold his sperm and the rest that leaks out is water under the bridge. Having sex every other day is a good idea too. Good luck and enjoy the sex.

Thanks
Thanks for the advice maura! I really appreciated you taking the time to comment on my question. Well, odd things are happening with me. My period started last night and I am not bleeding anymore, well at least not now. So, who knows what is going on with me!? I guess I will see how things go the next few days or so, maybe I am having what they call implantation bleeding?

When I found out I was pregnant I started bleeding and had some cramping and they told me it was normal, probally just implantation bleeding. But I went to the doctor and I had miscarried. If you think you might be pregnant go to the doctor fast! Also I leak quite a bit after sex and I was so worried that I would never get pregnant because of so much stuff that was coming out of me. But I didn't so I wouldn't worry too much about that.
Best of luck

The stuff that comes out is mostly the cum (semen) not the sperm.
The sperm is what swims to the egg, not the liquidy substance that comes out of the male penis. That is just there to transport the little guys.

i think the best advice for this question is just to enjoy sex...

It also helps if your "stuff" comes as the same time his "stuff" does.

The muscles contracting from your "stuff" help bring his "stuff" up to the egg...:d

Sweetie there's no time limit to becoming pregnant. My husband and I have been married for 13 years and never used b/c not even once...I found out I was pregnant in july of this year! It was a both a shock & a blessing, our situation was a little different though because I have thyroid problems and actually had my thyroid removed last year...Most people with thyroid problems have problems conceiving or 90% miscarry in the first trimester...I am not 6 months pregnant and feeling great! I've had no morning sickness (not even once) and my baby is big and healthy! My point is people had me so scared listening to their horror stories of the sickness and labor that I never wanted to have kids...But everyone is different. I wish you all the luck in the world...I am so happy and excited I just can't wait. Laughing

Hello to all, I have a question; my wife is approxamately 8weeks pregnant and today she noticed some type of white liquid/ mucous coming out. We're a little worried, should we be or is this common.
