Itching
I have been experiencing itching for the past year, but now the second month without a period it has gotten worst. The anti-itch creams don't work for me. I have uncontrollable itching to where I am raw. I can't wear clothing and don't want to go out or be in any company. I am 47.

intense itching
WOW! I am so glad I found this sight! I am 53 and have been in menopause for about 3 years. I just started itching about 2 months ago. Comes on suddenly and leaves in a few minutes. Sometimes looks a little pink (and more if I scratch too much). Worst is the back of my head near my neck and hairline and stomach, then lower back and buttocks. It drives me crazy. I thought it was an allergy and changed body wash and even shampoo. Glad to hear that it is probably due to menopause. At least I don't feel like I'm going insane!
