How Early Can You Take a Preg Test? Posted: 06-27-05 14:20pm
Its been 2 weeks exactly since ive had
sex. My period is due any day but I
havent had any of the normal symptoms I
usually get right before a period. So my
question is, how early can you take a home
pregnancy test? And how much does one
cost?

You can take the first response test up to
4 days before your period is due. If you
take it and its negative and you still
don't have your period wait a week and
take another one. Good luck.

U can take a test just after a couple days
you've had sex. And they cost like $3-4.
Its not that expencive. Thats how I found
out I was pregnant, and now im 5 months
with my first lil boy!!

People make mistakes.
And, the test came out negative... But I
still havent gotten my period. So I might
take another test if I dont start by next
thursday.

I would definitely do that. I was a week
late and took one, but the week before I
was supposed to start it was negative...It
just took a while for it to show up in my
urine!

It really depends on the type of test..
Most test require you to have a missed
period.. But I used first response and
took it 2 days before a missed period and
got a positive with both pregnancies...
