Q: Ex Boyfriend Owes Me Money

My ex boyfriend mitch (michel) melanson lived with me for over a year and left me with a $10000 loan to pay back by myself because he refused to keep a job. We had to get the loan to consolidate credit card debt used mostly to pay the rent, bills, and buy his cigarettes etc. When at the end of the month he would have spent my pay cheque on video games and dope.

I realize I was the stupid one in this situation, and I will never let this happen to me again, but wanted to warn anyone else who might be inquiring about this particular person who now lives in calgary, ab.

Take him to a small claims court (sorry, I can't remember the american/canadian name for it) and get him bound by law to pay it back. Simple as that.

Small claims court will usually only get you around 5000. If you don't mind representing yourself and have all the documents of the transactions in writing, then go for it. If you don't.....it might just be hearsay and it will be difficult to prove your case.

my previous sexual partner (i was stupid before) owed me like 400-500 singapore dollars, and wont acknowldege it, he keeps lying and even tricked my fren into sex with the hope of a r/s but she was too possesive of him

I am the stupidest person alive. My friend made me buy him a $6,000 bike to prove his trust , promising me he would pay me back. I was so sick when we went to the bike shop that I never went to the register to sign my name. The shop people never asked for my ID, or I would have asked for help. Another dumb mistake, I paid his rent. Now I have nothing. His parents are well of should I contact them. He probably stole over $600 too. Please help, I need advice and a good slap for being such a fool. Can I make him give me the bike back as it is legally charged to my credit card? Thank you
