My md thinks they are from a petit mal seizure disorder...I've been worrying about ms lately, though. Can lacunar infarcts on an mri be a sign of ms?

The pathological substrate in MS is not infarct but inflammatory demyelinizating plaque.

Infarct and MS-plaque may look similar on MRI and both pathological conditions can cause seizures.

You may need to do additional investigations for MS like: serological examination of the cerebrospinal liquor and evocated sensory potentials test.
