I have severe form of lichen planus for almost 2 years. Unfortunately there are not that many doctors, who knows what it is, and even fewer number of doctors who could help me just to live with this disease. Does anybody know how to get rid of this nasty disease?

Lichens Planus
I also have a severe case of Lichens Planus that has been going on over the years and getting worse. I have been to a dermatologist that diagnosed it and I have been seeing and ear specialist for over a year continually because my ears. My throat is swollen and one side is extremely sore most of the time with a feeling of a lump. I have found that juicing has helped the rash quite a bit. I recently found that if I gargle with something like listerine it does help keep the bacteria out of the mouth and throat. I'm on small dose of Prednisone and the generic for Pacquenil. There is no cure. They say it can go as fast as it came. I also pray for that day. This is a very nasty disease and can even make eating difficult. I have also read that Lycopene is a new thing they have done in clinical trial which has helped. I have eaten so much watermelon and honestly can't say if it has helped.
