I have been taking orthotrycyclen lo for about 8 months and it was working really well. However, a few months ago I started my period early and it lasted for 10 days. The next month everything was fine, but a month later it happened again. I have also experienced a heart fluttering sensation in my chest and I don't know if it's due to the pill or not. If anyone has experienced similar problems or has some ideas about what might be going on, let me know please. Thanks!

I am on the same type of birth control too. I have always had very regular periods and just this month I had my period a week early and so far, it's going on 10 days. I just saw a doctor today, she told me to wait a few more cycles and if it is still off, I need to contact her and she will put me on regular orthotricylen. She said the low estrogen is the cause.
Hope this helps.

I've been on it for a year and 4 months now and I haven't had that problem, but thanks for the heads up! On average I start on a tuesday, but sometimes I start on a sunday. Sometimes it lasts for only 2 days and sometimes 5 and it's even lingered 2 days into the next pack on occasion. Hmm... So far it's not an issue, but I will definately stay aware of a possible early start (and prepared!!).
