Q: 9cm Ovarian Cyst Could It Be Malignant

I was diagnosed with cervical cancer 3 years ago and had a werheims tah and lymphodectomy.
I have been experiencing pain in lower right abdomen, sometimes acute, dull aching or dragging feeling.
My gynae said it would be adhesions and arranged a ct scan. This has revealed a 9cm cystic mass on my remaining left ovary.

He has arranged for me to see a gynaecology oncologist this week and ive had ca125 taken.

Has anyone else had a cyst this large and its been benign?

Any replies would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Hello

yes my cyst was over 12cm in diameter and 600ml of fluid inside it. My ovary was removed because it was destroyed, however it was benign.

Any news on your situation?
