Before you perform a full colonic it's a good idea to start off by taking oxygenated colon cleansers. There's a great product I found online called oxy-powder and it is phenomenal! At first I was hesitant because i've never heard of it before and it sounded like an acne medicine, so I called up their customer service line and they provided me with all the information I needed. This product also helped me with my long battle with ibs.
Follow the link below if you need more information:

here's to your health!

One of the keys to having success with this program is following the instructions. There are many people who don't follow the guidelines (such as drinking more water)...

I've tried four different herbal detox kits and the Colonix product was the one that produced the best results for me.

There's a pretty comprehensive Colonix review posted on the Colon Cleansing Blog that I would recommend reading before making your decision to purchase any cleansing program.

Really?!?!?!
I read one guys comments about having his doctor say that if you've ever had a colonoscopy, there is no 'lingering' waste stuck to the walls of your intestines. I'm suspicious of the review sites that recommend the most expensive product as well.

http://www.detoxreviews.com/index.html

I have heard one nutritionist say that some products will put thing in it that create 'harmless' worms that pass in the stool to give the user a sense of satisfaction that something must be working (that's not to say that it ISN'T working, just because of the added worms). I have taken psyllium (active ingredient in metamucil) in the past and my stool had the exact 'texture' of the ones you see on the Dr. Natura website. Mind you, they weren't as long, but they had that ropey-intestiney look and they stayed fully intact.

Last week, I did the Master Cleanse for three days...I was peeing out my butt, which was raw, I felt like crap and was hungry. Monday I started Michael's Ultimate Cleanse (ranked '23' out of '25' on the website I mentioned above, which I believe to be biased). I've been eating mostly raw fruits and veggies (very limited dairy and had some shrimp yesterday, but other wise no meat), and I feel great! I don't have a bunch of funky pooh, nor do I need it to feel like a cleanse is happening. It's a 14 day cleanse, so I'll keep y'all posted. Wink

I've also been really thinking about trying Colonix out and will probably be ordering a kit in the next week or so. I have suffered from constipation for a long time and I'm praying that this will be the solution.

Here are two really helpful resources that I came across if you're interested:

1. Colonix Review - Go back to the very beginning of this blog and read all the entries. The blogger did a daily journal (including photos), interesting read!

2. Colonix Forum - You can discuss Dr. Natura's program here as well as stay updated on the progress of others who are taking it.

Hope this helps out and wish me luck with my cleanse!

Day 13 On Colonix
I have been on Colonix for 13 days and I feel so much better. I was so scared to try this product because my colon was already in such bad shape. This was really a last resort for me.
Last year I woke up in pain...the kind that sends you to the ER. I found out that I have diverticulitus. What suppriesed my doctors is that I was only 34 years old. They tell me that I am very young for this, but to be honest I felt very old. I have been in and out of the hospital for the last year with this. The last time was just in February. I would cry when I had to get up every morning because I would wake up tired no matter how much sleep and always sick.
Things are improving for me thanks to this product. The pain that has been in my left side for the last year is gone. I have energy for my day
now because I wake up feeling rested. I can not tell you how long it has been since I felt that way. I have hope at this point.
I am haveing more BMs. The best thing is how much easer it is to pass them. Yesterday I had 4. Before I had one every day or two and it was not much then. I have not noticed any worm or strange looking BMs but was happy to see something that looked close to a normal BM.
I am very excited about this product. I only ordered a one month supply in case it was to good to be true but now I am going to order the other 2 months worth and stick with this for the recomended amount of time.
If I continue to have good results this will be something that I do twice a year.
Let me tell you if this stuff keeps me out of the hospital and helps me restore my health I am going to have to go personally to thier home office and shake hands with the people that have helped me.

Colonix Alternative
Has anyone tried just using psyllium husks and the 8 glasses of water?
After reading all the posts here and the testimonials all over the web I've only seen one opinion questioning the wierd eliminations photographed on the Colonix site. His thoughts make sense to me; that the gelatinous strings could be the huge amount ot psyllium taking on the shape of the intestine. If you didn't drink enough water I bet that stuff could really gunk things up.
Before i blow $200 on some herbs I'm going to try an experiment. I've been doing a couple teaspoons of psyllium daily and some herbal pills that contain casscara, senna etc. I've had increased movements but not as significant a volume as I would like. And I have not been good about increasing water intake.
So now I'll try more psyllium and lots of water and we'll see.

Just Ordered Colonix
Hi all. I'm new to the site and found it when I was reading about diverticulitis, which unfortunately, I suffer from. Yesterday I ordered the colonix with the anti-toxin and then I found this site. I read this entire thread with interest. This led me to other sites where I saw both positive and negative feedback on colonix. I had surgery for my diverticulitis back in '04 and just recently had a flare up. But even when my condition is not flared up, I have very bad bloating and I can't take it anymore. I exercise regularly and although my diet is not perfect, it's by no means terrible. I do regular ab work and my stomach has good muscle tone but it always feels distended. My nephew pushed on it one day and said "man, that's hard fat you got there." That's just it, I'm not THAT fat, just bloated. I am really hoping to get some relief with this Colonix. I just wanted to drop in and say hi and I will post my experiences after I start the cleanse.

its been 3.5 weeks since I last posted and guess what? I discovered that the senna leaf and possibly other herbs I was taking was exacerbating my constipation and making me nauseous. I saw a doctor that suggested that these herbs with some people some of the time can cause spasming of the colon. I went to just psyllium husk and lots of water. And everything has been moving nicely. But I don't know what started the constipation originally other than not drinking enough water. Which I suspect can be most peoples problem.
ANyway I am considering the master cleanse - the lemon juice, maple syrup and salt water cleanse as soon as I can get my hands on the book or the info because I am so tired all the time.......

Colonix Is a Scam!
So i did the colonix cleanse about a year ago. It made me sick! I had headaches all the time and it made me bloated like you wouldn't beleive. I became severely constipated, and consequently, recieved bad bad cramps. I went to my gastroentronologist because of the colonix, and asked my doctor about the it, and he got really upset with me. He told me to stop taking it immediately. He told me that he's had many people come to him complaing of Colonix. Many horror stories.

He even asked one of his patients for a stool sample, which meant one of those ropes you get from Colonix. He sent it off to a lab, and had it analyzed, all it was was the fiber mix. It was confirmed thru lab analysis. It wasn't my stool sample, that was two years ago. Before I came to him.

He told me that although laxatives are no good for you, Colonix is just as bad. He took me off of the Colonix and made me get bloodwork done. He even made me come back 6 weeks later for further bloodwork, something about my enzyme deficiency. Now I'm fine, but he was really really concerned about me.

Just a thought to anyone thinking abotu Colonix colon cleansing.

Can You Give Me Colonix Advice?
ok, so I just discovered this forum / thread about Colonix colon cleansing. I'm very interested about what people have to say. I'm currently in the middle of the colonix cleansing, which I have documented on my colon cleansing blog, and I get headaches from it. I've been drinking alot of water and trying to follow the colonix instructions, but it's been hard. I have had bouts of constipation and extreme cramps. I see that other people on here have experienced similar things.

Anyways, if anyone can give me any advice about Colonix or colon cleansing in general, it would be very helpful to me... as well as my colon cleansing blog. Thank you.

Colonix Colon Cleansing Program
I wouldn't do the Colonix Colon Cleansing Program. Today is my first day off the cleansing program. I've been on it for a little over 3 weeks. I have been feeling like absolute crap since I started the Cleansing Program.

It's made me more constipated then I was before I began. It's given me horrific headaches. I get occasional & severe abdominal cramps. It's rubbed my bum-hole raw from all the straining I have to do, just to poop a little out.

It's a horrible thing. I called the Colonix people earlier this week, and they told me it's natural to feel this way, because it's DETOX SYMPTOMS. Yea. Ok. So to "clean" myself and become a healthier person, I have to be sick all the time???? Yea. That's logical.

I was constipated before this started and I'm even more constipated since I started the Colonix. AND no one can say I didn't drink enough water. I drank around 2.5-3 liters a day. I steeped that nasty tea for twenty minutes, and nothing.

Colonix is an absolute joke. It's a ripoff. It's dangerous to your health Anyone that takes it is a damn fool! (and that includes me)

Why are you guys taking something that makes you constipated? That makes no sense. I'm very familiar with Colon cleansing and the various methods & supplements. Iv'e heard of other people being constipated from Colonix. It made me constipated the first two weeks I was on it, but I heard so many horror stories about Colonix in my little circle of hydrotherapy friends, that I quit it before it got even worse.

You guys should try getting a colonic. (NOT COLONIX) Colonic. It's where they put a water hose up your, well you know, and then flush it with water. It's works well, I've had dozens of them done over my lifetime. I usually get it done about twice a year.

If you can't handle the tube up your, well.. Then try a different product. One that doesn't make you sick. There are a bunch more good ones out there. Oxypowder, Blessed Herbs, Puristat are the other cleanser's that I have used.

Because I am prone to constipation, I favor Oxypowder. It's an oxygen-based cleanser and it WILL NOT make you constipated. In fact, it makes the opposite happen. It liquefies your stool, so you have watery poop. Sounds gross, I know, but it works well. I don't take oxypowder anymore, but it was the best out of the four supplements I tried.

I agree with TequilaSunrise. Why on earth are continuing to take something that MAKES you constipated. I've done the colonix cleanse before, and I also experienced alot of side effects from it. I only became constipated during the first week, but the headaches are what ultimately forced me to quit. They were too severe.

But I was smart enough to quit taking the colonix when I started to feel sick. I only lasted 2.5 weeks on the colonix. I made a horrible decision when I did it. I later did a different colon cleanse, which I liked alot more.

Just stop taking it!

Before you cause more damage to your poopshoot.

Colonix Colon Cleansing -- Update
So it's been about two weeks since I left a message on here. I see that other people are feeling as bad as I was.

I'm no longer taking any of the colonix. I did three weeks of it and that was enough. I had constant headaches and constipation since starting it. I also got constant cramps in my stomach. I ended up going to my doctor and told him about how I was feeling and I told him about the COlonix. He got mad at me and told me that he wished that I would've consulted with him about the COlonix, because he would've told me NOT to do it. Apparently, he's had other patients complain about Colonix. I wasn't the first. So. I stopped taking Colonix. I no longer have headaches or constipation or any of the other colonix side effects I was experienced.

I would not recommend Colonix to anyone considering it. Unless you like pain and feeling sick. Then yea, I would recommend Colonix.

If you don't like pain and feeling sick. Then Stay Away From Colonix!

ok. I hope everyone else is feeling better.

Sorry to read about your problems, hope it all gets better. I'm two weeks into the Colonix program and I'm liking it. I've always been regular but I get bouts of diverticulitis so I started taking metamucil and eventually found the Colonix web site. I haven't had any funky fecal matter come out of me but I do feel better. I don't know if it's the Colonix or just the fact I'm drinking so much water now. I really believe whether or not you have problems, drinking 60-70 oz of water a day makes a huge difference. You WILL get constipated on a high fiber regimen if you don't drink enough water. Anyway, at this point I can't really say I'd recommend Colonix because it is expensive and I'm thinking maybe the metamucil and plenty of water would do the same thing. I do like the tea though. If I have any earth-shattering events I'll post them up. Good luck to you.

THERE ARE NO WORMS AND STUFF INSIDE OF US. HE SAID THAT THEREMAY BE A FEW PEOPLE THAT MAY HAVE THIS ISSUE BUT THE PERCENT IS REAL LOW. ITS A WASTE OF MONEY. FOR IBS I USE MIRALAX. IT WORKS GREAT. IT WAS A PRESCRIPTION NOW YOU CAN GET IT OVER THE COUNTER.

Would this colonix neutralize foul smelling fecal odors coming out of your anus after the product takes effect? Also, can parasites effect the way you smell?

Colonix Indigestion
I have been on Colonix for 10 days or so and I have had continuous indigestion and reflux from it. I have been feeling crappy since I started taking it. First the headaches every day, which seem to be gone now. Then the reflux in my throat and very sore butt, both ends are sore as ever at once. I haven't been using the Kleritea, since it gave me reflux on day one. Has anyone else had similar experiences? Have you found a way to tolerate it? Thanks

Are you drinking the recommended amount of water each day?? I feel this is VERY important. I'm in my second month of the Colonix plan and I've noticed on days I don't drink enough water, I can tell. In the beginning I had very mild headaches but that's about it. The tea helps a lot too as I always have several good movements the next moring. Overall, I've not had any real negative effects but I haven't passed any "aliens" either.
