Q: Bleeding Throat

I am 24 years old and had my tonsils removed about a year and a half ago. But three days ago I noticed that there was blood in my mucus when I blew nose. Since then I have noticed that there is blood trapped in mucus slowly flowing down. I do not feel any pain, not even a soar throat. Should I be alarmed or will it stop? How do I know that it is getting serious if it is not yet?
