Q: Strong Smell.

I have a very strong smelling odor from around my genital area, and I don't know if it is from urine or my vagina. It's not been accompanied by vaginal discharge, or pain, but I do feel a strange sensation after I have urinated. Could anyone please help me? Being 16 and living with your family does not aid anything! Thanks.

I've posted this in a few areas, as I could really do with some help!

That 'strange sensation' you are feeling after urinated is a sign of what I think to be a slight bladder infection. I get bladder infections often so I know what its like, but usually it makes you pee alot, but you could just have a slight infection going on, id check into going to the doctors, you probably need some meds, they will clear you right up, its an easy process. The smell also points to some kind of infection I think, you sure you don't have a tampon or anything still in your vagina? It does happen, women forget about them and they rot in there and it causes an awful smell. But this is just my advice, best of luck! : )

Its An Infection
It is definitely an infection... Of some kind... If you are sexually active it may be a std... If not it could be many different things... Depends on the discharge def... Get it checked by a doctor!!

Pungent odour is most likely a yeast infection. See your doc to be treated, after your initial treatment you can buy over-the-counter treatments to resolve this problem. Very common, no need to worry.

Make sure to wash up regularly with antibacterial soap.
