Ok, so i've lost about 17 pounds, and I want to lose about 20 more. I consume about 1,200-1,400 calories a day. I've been doing the abs of steel video everyother day, I lift weights everyother day, and I play basketball everyday. Can anyone else tell me what to do to lose the weight faster? I want to have it lost by september. Thanks!

I saw your post on the eating disorder forum. You need to get help, brittany! The more you exercise frantically & starve yourself, the sicker you will become. Losing more weight is not what you need. Please stop hurting your body & get help.

Well..You have already lost 17 pounds..And still wanna know how to loose weight fast? Strange!
I must congratulate you on your achievement.
Would be great if you share your secret in detail here in the forum so that many more people may benefit by following you.

Hi brittany,

if you're not happy about your body and want to change it, then all the power to you. I would much rather find motivated individuals like yourself who do something about their unhappiness, opposed to those majority who complain about the problems in their life, or with their body, but do nothing about it.

First off, we're going to talk about nutrition since apparently you've had a run in with eating disorders. (according to a post above.) first thing you must learn that to lose weight, to get that sexy model body, you must eat... *however*, you have to eat the proper foods. Not all food will make you gain weight! Get this misconception out of your head! There are so many different types of foods out there, choked full of vitamins, amino acids, proteins, etc. You need to understand proper nutrition and eating the appropriate foods throughout the day will actually help you lose weight. One example is that whenever you eat your metabolism increases to break down the food and utilize it. Your metabolism increases whether you eat a few crackers, or a full meal. As soon as your body senses food in your stomach, it goes into action to break this food down. This is why eating small meals throughout the day will help you lose weight, since your metabolism will constantly be boosted up. (opposed to only 2-4 meals per day.)

second, you need to do your exercises in the mornings, not middle or end of the day.. You'll burn much more fat this way. Also, you must understand that the harder you work does not equal burning more fat off. Light/moderate cardiovascular/aerobic exercises for an extended period of time will burn more fat off! (this means a light jog for 1 hour is much more effective than sprinting and sweating till you feel like you're going to collapse for 20 minutes!). Slow, steady, long period of time. Eat throughout the day. Coffee in the morning can help a bit.
