Q: Throat Spasm

I have recently been the hospital and they said that I have gastrix reflux, but on the way to college I had a throat spasm, and my throat shut up for bout 10 seconds, im really scared now :( , I dont no wot is wrong with me, I dont believe the docter, I think it is somehting more seriouse, do u no wot it could be?, do u suffer from it?
