My ears hurt on the inside and very sore to the touch on the outside. I also have a slight headache and I can't lay on that side of my head at night because of the pain. I've gone to my primary doctor several times and the last time I went my ears hurt so bad he could not exam them. I have not put any objects in them. Does anyone know what this mught be.

I also have had this problem. It comes and goes. I complain about my ears hurting atleast once every 2 weeks. I have no idea what causes it, but it usually lasts a day or two.
