I have been on birth control pills for 8 years now. My question I am seeking an answer for is this. What side affects come with quitting the pill. Is there missed periods the first couple months, spotting... If you have an answer please let me know. This is going to be a new experience for me not being on the pill!

I've gotten off the pill several different times. And it seems to me that the symtoms were similar to what happened to you when you got on them. I just recently got off ovcon, and I felt nauseus at times, my boobs lost a cup size (back to normal), and my period got heavier, and crampier. But the good news is your not taking a pill everyday, and not as emotional, or in my case a little nutty. Ha. I did have my period on time the first month, but late the second month. It all has to do with your bodys hormones. You've been on it for a while, so I would expect it to take a while to get your body back to normal.
