I am scheduled to have an MRI done because I am having lower back pain. In 1994, I had ACL reconstruction surgery on my knee so I now have 2 pins in it. My concern is that the metal in my knee and a huge magnet are not going to mix! The place where I am having the MRI done said that it "should" be ok. I am still not reassured. Any input would be appreciated.
