Clear Discharge On Arm From Depo Shot Posted: 06-20-05 19:10pm
I got my birth control shot (depo) 3 days
ago, as scheduled. This is my fourth
shot, but i'm having problems.
The spot where I got my shot is
practically gone. There is still a tiny
lump, which I always get with the shot. I
squeezed it today, thinking it was a
pimple, and it oozed out a small amount of
clear liquid.
Does this mean the shot get done in the
place where it should have? Am I
protected?

Have you tried to call and ask your doc
for some advice or perhaps another doc or
possibly planned parenthood,

I don't have a primary doctor, considering
I just lost my medical and am unemployed.
Planned parenthood basically said "i don't
know," and couldn't be of much help.
Any ideas, anybody?

Since just a small amount came out I doubt
all the medcine that was injected came out
so a lot is still probably in you so you
are most likely protected just fine.
Maybe not all of in went into the blood
stream so you had a little leakage, or
maybe its just body (water) fluids from
your arm which is what you saw come out.
