Hi am just wondering if anyone here are on antidepressants and notice that their mestraul cycle is getting affected?
I have been searching the web high and low and have not seen anywhere about antidepressants can effect your monthly cycle.
I am however get ver irritable when it's normanly about to arrive, but to no avail??
Just want to know and hoping that i'm not the only one....(i will eventually go to my doctor).

Hi jemini,

not sure why you couldn't find any information on this, it's not really a secret or anything and is a known side effect to most anti depressants. Yes, your cycle can go off course and it is also not uncommon to miss a month altogether.

There were some posts on this forum a few months back too about this.
