I need advice
I don't want to have kids, but I don't know what is best...hysterectomy...tubes tied. I have no objections to neither. I just want to know which one takes less incisions,or which one has the least after effects.

I'm thirty without children and I'm finally getting my tubes tied. Most doctors will require a women be over 32 and often their is a long counseling session. Even if you already have pre-existing children, it is difficult to get fixed before 32. I found a clinic in Vegas that will do it, every clinic I visited in the Midwest slammed the door in my face. The counseling session is a lot of are you sure you don't want kids and why don't you want kids, so be prepared to deal with that. My surgery is being partly covered by the health insurance and my out of pocket expenses not including air fare and lodging outside of the hospital is about $2000.

HI
Not sure where you are, but here in Georgia, I do know you can go to any local county health department. Talk to the dr/nurse about a sterilization program. Many are paid for costing you (and the government) nothing. You already have 2 children and have decided you want no more, you would have the option of signing papers stating this is your choice. Its soley based on your income. Hope this helps!
