Is It a Boy Or Girl? Posted: 06-17-05 23:50pm
I am a military dependent so unfortunatley
I am limited at the hospital to what they
will do bc they are cheap..Lol my first
actual ultrasound isnt until 20 weeks
which is right before my hubby leaves for
a deployment
=( will the doctor be able to tell me
then if its a boy or girl? I would
really love for him to know before he
leaves bc he wont be here for our baby's
birth...(its gonna be our first baby)
thanks

As long as your baby decides to cooperate
(does not have his/her legs crossed) they
will be able to tell you.

I really depends. It can be anywhere
from 15-16 weeks on. It's easier to tell
with boys though. I found out at 19
weeks I was having a boy. It took them a
while to figurw it out though cause he
wouldn;t uncross his legs for the longest
time. (i have a pic of the bottom of his
feet and you can see they're crossed-lol)
I was so nervous that when I went back for
my 32 week u/s the first question I asked
was- so we're still sure it's a boy?
And then they had no problem telling.
Mr. Flasher! Lol

Supposedly, but they are old wives tales
so....Not really. Lol it all depends on
what hubby's spermies made-lol
