From what you described, you did not put yourself at risk of hiv transmission. The behavior is risky, but the actual language does not warrant reaction.

However, I hope that you are being truthful with the story. Only you would know. If not, you shouldn't have unprotected sex with the girlfriend.

You should beware of many other std's.

If you did have any form of unprotected sex, a simple elisa will rule out hiv.

If I could see you I would have definately given you a big treat this was giving me so much of stress and I was feeling like having symptoms of hiv though I guess they were my perceptions.....

So it means I dont need to test since what I said was absolutely the truth I dont know why I did that since I really love my girl friend and never wanted to do anything like that but it happened.

By the way can you tell me why if it is not inside the vagina it can not be transmitted???

Hiv is very difficult for a man to contract compared to a woman. This is science talking! I believe that the exchange and contact was not "insertive" vaginal intercourse.

I can assure you that the probability of contracting hiv is compared to a snowstorm in miami!

You do need to watch your behavior! If you are concerned, take an elisa and have protected sex until your window period is complete (from date of last exposure). However, you should expect a neg result. Honestly, I really don't feel that you have a window, if what actually happened was exactly as you have written. You have a more likely chance of contracting other std's.

What do you think, should be the question! You sound mature enough to understand what you're dealing with and seem to know the best answer. If you are concerned, it may be driven by guilt. Work on it! If you have sex with anyone else other than your girlfriend, you must make sure it's protected and have to take the responsibility of accepting the consequences.

Hiv doesn't like to travel outside of the body and jump onto the penis like lice, i'm talking like once it hits air. To make it worse for hiv, you were taking a shower and i'm sure lots of water was present, maybe soap, assisting with lubrication. You automatically assume vaginal secretions. The conditions simply do not add up in favor of hiv...Not at all. Insertive is different!
