My daughter just turned 18, in the past 2 months she has been treated for body rashes, hives etc. She has gone to a dermotologist for this and has gotten better. However she has also had shortness of breath and fatique. She has been diagnosed with asma. She has within the past 3 weeks started having joint hip pain. This would come and go. She complains about joint pain in her knees, wrists, toes and fingers. This pain comes and goes quite frequently. She has seen her doctor who performed blood test and the results were fine. She has lost 6lbs in the past 2 monts. She weighs 105 now. She can't write, drive or play her clarinet sometimes because of this. Last night she could not get her rings off becaues of the swelling in her hands and she needed help dressing for bed.To get an appointment with a rheumatology will take a over a month. Looking for suggestions or any help. Please! Crying or Very sad Sad

Even a physician would have a good idea in diagnosing the problem not necessarily a rheumatologist. Disorders of thyroid or immune related ones need to be ruled out to arrive at proper diagnosis and furtherance of treatment.
