Numbness
I have numbness that flashes throughout my body it is usually in my lips, hands and then goes down to my legs. It is really scary sometimes. Specially when you have to drive somewhere after this happens. I have had neurological test done to make sure it wasn't anything serious and they just said it was do to the anxiety attacks.

Im worried I may have some sort of neurologic problem too. It happens only to my foot, especially the left foot. When I posture it in a certain way or flex my toes (crunch my toes) or extend my foot the way a balerina does, its like my foot just locks into a frozen position as some sort of jolt or electrifying/shooting pain is happening that is preventing my from moving my foot. It is very painful and I can onlly move my foot until this pain goes away which usually last a long 30second to 1 minute. Does this happen to anyone or does anyone knwo what this is?

I have never gone for a neurological test. Where do you get that done?

Down123, this sounds like nothing more than a good old cramp, stretch your legs and feet muscles, eat more potassium (bananas) and drink more water.
If you urine has any color in it, your body is dehydrated.

Not everyone feels the same symptoms exactly, but will feel some of the symptoms from anxiety...

I am working on a website that I will have up in the next couple of days that will have helpful information to learn about anxiety and how to cope.

Anxiety sufferers often get numbness from the fight or flight response, look it up on the net

Anxiety, Sleep Apnea, Nacolepsy
Have suffered from anxiety for years, suffered for over 10 years before I figured out what was going on. Numerous dr visits, panic attacks. I still suffer from anxiety, but it is hard to convince myself that my syptoms are anxiety related. Numbness in my limbs, dizziness, weakness, fatigue, depression. I am a mess. And to top it all off, I have sleep apnea, use a cpap, and was just diagnosed with narcolepsy two days ago. I suffer from severe daytime fatigue. I am pharmaceutical sales rep, but I have anxiety over the meds. Just a big cycle.

Adam_baum, I know most of my syptoms are anxiety related. I guess the point I was making is, b/c of the anxiety I tend to think all my syptoms are physical.

Really, it s all in the mind you have to be really hard on yourself and tell yourself that its not real that you are not alone and we are all in this together

Not trying to be mean but look at us...Everyday we wake up and come on this site and post our symptoms and read other peoples symptoms to try and relate to them because we cant convince ourselves that its anxiety...We have to do something I dunno what but talkin to people helps temporarley not permantley..What happens when this dosnt even help anymore..I sure as hell know I cant live like this the rest of my life like this and I dont think any of u can either. We have to get together and try to figure outsomeone to make this caca go away. If other people out there beat it then we can to but were not going to on an aol website

Numbness
The question was where do you get numbness in your body?....well I woke up last night and my whole hand was numb and I had to keep shaking it for a few minutes to get it to go away. This has happened before and I'm wondering what causes it......anyone have any answers. I don't think I have carpel tunnel syndrone as I don't do that much repetitive motions but then again I do play this game on the computer that last about 20 to 30 minutes and I am using the mouse a lot so I may have it but only my right hand gets numb.
