Q: Skin Problem

About 5 years ago small red bumps began to appear on my arms and legs. They vary in size from 2 mm to 5 or 6 mm. Now they appear any where on my body except my face. If I leave them alone they dry up and flake off in 2 or 3 weeks. If I pick at one with my fingernail the "lid" lifts up and it's raw underneath.Sometime they bleed slightly.Eventually they heal and dissappear. I've been to a dermatoligist and he said it wasn't a skin problem. He said it could be systemic. In other words caused from something in my blood. Has anybody ever heard of anything like this? It's really getting old.

It sounds like you need to get to your family physician, and have some blood work done.
