Baking Soda
Just a bunch, like a handful or two.

I bought a big bag that had instructions for how much to add to a pool so I just went by how many gallons I thought my bathtub was.

Some girls just have a stronger oder than others, my girlfriend is the same way, although it doesnt really bother me unless I am going down her and only at first until I "clean it up"

You may just be worrying too much. How do you know yours is smellier than average?

If it smells really strong or unpleasant then go and see another doctor, as you could have a bacterial infection, or possibly a yeast infection such as thrush.

Try and avoid strong scented soap / bubblebath especially if you are sensitive as these can cause irritation which can lead to an infection.

Try lavender oil in your bath as it is said to be calming and also has a lovely smell.

Also....
I know this is a really stupid question and I find it really embarrassing to ask but....

What means "douche"? Embarassed !

I've never heard that word before .... giggle

I know how you feel believe me...first go to the doc and if there's no STD or infection then try chlorophyll concentrate...I get mine from Puritan's Pride. Try it and give it like a week to kick in.

if its new to you and not your normal scent, get checked out, it could simply be a yeast infection or something more serious like an std or bacterial vaginosis. go get checked out, you have nothing to lose but your fertility.

What Does Douche Mean?
To douche is to squirt water/cleaning solution inside your vagina.

It is actually very bad for your vaginal health - it disturbs the natural Ph levels of the vagina which is a self cleaning organ. In the end it makes any problems of odour etc worse as it allows bacteria to breed.

Stinky Pinky fixed in an instant!!!
Ok Ladies start taking Probiotics aka acidophillus I take it once a day and its like 6 to 8 cups of yogurt in one little pill. I asked my doctor because I felt like I had a strong odor..my husband didnt complain Smile but I felt like it smelled funny...Seriously though take the Probiotics as soon as you get up or right before bed....They also help promote great digestion. My boyfriend can but his nose up to my Va Jay Jay and smell and says I smell clean like I just showered and it could be right after work..Try it out!!

I had this same problem. Does it seems much worse after sex or if you get hot/sweaty? I read an article one day that said the smell could be from overactive sweat glands down there. So, I have been putting unscented deoderant down there, and it has worked WONDERS!! I just run it up and down basically the creases between my legs and vagina, pretty much where the sweat glands are. I don't actually put it on my vagina. It has basically completely eliminated that smell. I hope this helps you.

OK DOWN123, you shouldnt be ashamed at all about this cuz it happens to all of us once in a blue.
some women cant use some soaps to wash themselves there but personally i can use anything bust zest. some can irritate your vagina. when u shower make sure you was well and dry yourself well, some women dont even dry there vagina good so then when they put on there pantis and clothes after a while your vagina is going to smell pretty foul. also sometimes i use "acromona" thats a medicine that goes in to your vagina which is great cuz it cleans all inside. i used it once and i love it.

good luck

I hope this will help
I have a sweating condition called hyperhydrosis....it affects my hands, feet, bellybutton and inner thighs, right NEXT to my vagina. So, I stay lightly sweaty in those areas ALL THE TIME. As we girls all know, staying damp in that area equals....not so nice smelling. Sad After I bathe I rub just a little deoderant in the crease of my thigh (and no, I am not a big girl!). Also, feminine sprays, like FDS extra strength, help too. The only thing is, don't let your guy go down there until you get a bath because my hubby has gotten a mouthful of that spray before and boy does he NOT like it! lol Sorry if TMI, but I thought it was an important "share."

I had the same problem. I tried douching and creams like you guys said, and lots of things my doctor told me to try. One of the things was a pill you take thats supposed to regulate your stuff..don't really know much about how it works, but it seems to help a lot. It's called Destinol. Also tried keeping it dry as possible and that helped too. Just a combination of things I guess.

Odor of vagina
I only had that issue one time, I came to realize that it was a chemistry issue, my body fluids mixing with the other persons. Also this person was a heavy beer drinker and I can tell you this also affects not only taste but the smell of thier semen..So maybe it's possible it is the chemistry between your body fluids as well? There is something in broccli that seems to nutualize the taste of the mans semen, maybe try that for your self and see if it makes a difference.
I have never had this problem with anyone since that boyfriend..
