:d hi ppl
my nephew has just come out of hospital with diagnosis of periorbital cellulitis, the medicine given was a drug called flucloxillilin - the only problem is my nephew wont take it, because its really strong and yucky, he's only 3yrs.
Is there anything anyone can suggest make taking this pill easier for my lil nephew. I understand that this is the only form of medicine here in new zealand for this disease and that there are no other alternatives and also that it is vital that he takes it but im just stuck on how to get him to take it, we've tried putting it in his jam, cereal, but he wont drink. His mother has even tasted it to see what his big fuss was about and she complained it was disgusting. I need help, can anyone suggest something please.
