Yeah gazz I used to get that mate. Id have sharp pains and twinges in my head around the back (felt like it was deep inside a blood vessel) and I used to be sure it was a blood clot or something.


Also used to suffer really bad dizziness too. Like when getting up really fast from being sat on the floor or something. Im sure its all part of how anxiety changes your body's reactions to things. I dont get dizziness or twinges now anyway and havn't for quite some time :)

the dizziness is what led me down the path of worrying about a tumour. The bottom line is you have to tell yourself that you are fine and believe that you will be ok. But it is hard. If its any reasurance, to my knowledge, from what ive heard/read about brain tumors you get constant unbearable headaches because of the increased pressure on the brain. But then you can have headaches for all sorts of reasons (dehydration, climate changes, eye strain etc) so headaches do not necassarily = tumour either!!

I have had a headache for a week now,the pain is on the left side and sometimes the back of my head.My back and chest are also sore along with my left eye.I hope its anxiety and not a brain tumour.Im thinking of going to my doc but im a bit embarrassed about it.Does anyone have any advice on why my headache has lasted so long.

Ive been getting headaches for about 3 months now. When I go to bed and put my ear to the pillow I can hear sounds in my ear.....Does anyone else get this?

Ya gazza ive been havon the same problem in the last few days, I was actually about to ask that same question untill I seen yours. It's probably ear war draining down or something.

Sometimes it fills like my ear is beating at the same speed of my heart.........This might sound weird lol..

Guys if you have headaches for long periods then go to the doctor and get it checked out. They may recommend a scan to give you the evidence you need to tell yourself that you are ok. And if there is a problem, well avoiding the docs is the worse thing you can do. But as I said headaches happen for all sorts of reasons so just go get it checked out!

Regarding noises in the ear yes ive had that too and beating the same as the heart isnt weird its normal because there is an area near your ear where you can feel your pulse so of course when blood is pumped from the heart, it also pumps past the ear so there aint nothing weird about that gazza. But I know what you mean it does feel strange.

I feel the same :( , i've had a headache for 5 days and it hasnt stopped, and my ears make this weird sound which annoyes me, my eyes are werid and I feel as if someones put a cannon ball on my head. Plz rply

Your fine man, that happens to everyone, all it is are nerves. I get twitches all the time, im only 18, its probably just from being so stressed all the time and nerevous your nerves are actin up. Hey do u ever worry about anurysms? I worry about them constintly, thats my biggest fear

My headache has gone away.Yesterday I found a lump on the back of my head.It isnt sore but its got me very worried.Could this be a sign of a brain tumour.I have become totally obssesed with getting a brain tumour.Should I visit my doc about my lump.Bigman16 do you have an email address I could contact you on.

You sound like me mate...Every little lump or bump you think its something serious..I know what u mean though...You cant help thinking it.. Its the same with me.

Gazza is the lump u feel like right in the middle of the back of your head. It feel like a little ball there or sumthin, I paniced over that for a few weeks untill I found out everyone has it. Its part of your skull, if thats the bump your talkin about

Do some research on anxiety, noone has ever died from anxiety...
One of the primary symptoms is thinking there is something life threatening going on with you. These are irrational thoughts, write all your negative thoughts down on a piece of paper. Then challenge those thoughts one at a time..... They are irrational.

am i anxious? I've had severe migraine for over a month now, longest one I've ever had, i feel like my head is being pushed down by a tonne weight with the added bonus of someone stabbing me in the back of the head constantly. Sometimes its throbbing and pounding and sometimes it just aches. My ears make all kinds of noises, my hands are numb and cold, i am suffering with dizziness (and have been for a few years, bppv unofficially diagnosed), I have a stiff neck, my eyes hurt and I wear sunglasses pretty much all of the time (even indoors), I cant concentrate and my hearing sometimes fails me, sometimes my speech is so slurred that no-one can understand but I thought I spoke fine. I've suffered with migraines for many years, they usually last for 10 days but suddenly they have got a lot worse so the doctor has put me on beta blockers and different painkillers which arent working. I had to have some time off work but have struggled and gone in the rest of the time. I'm not bothered about dying, its the one thing we all have in common that we have to do whether we like it or not and in fact, with this pain, the sooner that happens the better. My doctor doesnt think I need an MRI scan or further tests but my family are very concerned. So what do i do?

aww angie i feel the same really ....do you ever feel like your legs are really heavey and arms ?? well my head pains are diffrent mine are like stingy ,tingling feeling ..which worrys me cos no1 as ever had that kind of feeling ,my head and my ears feel full all the time ....plz can nyone help me x

Have you ever asked a trusted doctor if it you might possibly have had a stroke? I am not a doctor but I understand. You might read further. I sympathize and i sincerely wish the best for you God Bless you.

how do u guys overcome this scary anxiety?

yes i have suffered from headaches in the back of my head constent nausea and dizziness which made me belive i had a brain tumor but it turned out it was all the anixety which is still very hard to beileve as anixety symptoms are often constent and the worry of the dizziness and headaches made them worse and exberbates the anixety.

generally people have headache because of many reason brain tumor is not the only reason, as sometime people got headache because of stress strain acidity, fasting, dieting, etc.

Alright, so I have had headaches for almost a year now. they started last january. I was in a car accident in december and hit my head pretty hard on the seat infront of me so I thought it could be a concusion, but the doctor said otherwise.

I have been on 6 different medication pills and many sample pills from the doctor. I had been taking Tricyclic antidepressants and they do help, but i want to know whats causing them.

I have had a ct scan, and in the results it showed an abnormality in my brain. They schedule me for a mri along with a session with a specialist.

The specialist had said he was near positive the abnormality was a blood vessel thats seen often enough and isn't harmless. He thought my headaches were caused from stress, and 'diagnosed'them to be cronic headaches. So I never got the mri. He said it was unnessisary exposure to radiation.

I have been to the doctor over the past year too many times to count. I have had nose bleeds (which have never happened to me ever before in my life) and the headaches used to be hell. I used to cry they hurt so bad. I havent been taking my medication since november, but now Im starting to get worried it could be something serious.

I have rescently had a nose bleed and I got glasses. I read a page about symptoms of a brain tumor and clumsyness and weakened eyesight was listed. I am going to try to get the mri. But Id like some feedback..could this be a brain tumor or something a little less serious?
