Q: Skipping the Inactive Pills?

I took ortho tricylen lo for 9 months and wen I got to the inactivepills I just wouldnt take them, then I would start up a new pack the following sunday because I figured there wasnt anything in them anyway. I just started taking yasmin now and I havent taken the inactive pills but my period is 2 days late... Is there something in the inactive pills that I should actually be taking them? Or maybe because I switched pills my period is just late.
Please please let me know any information about this. Thanks very much! :)

??
My guess is cause you switched pills but I could be wrong. Have you had unprotected sex?? It's just a waiting game now. If you haven't started in a few days take a pregnancy test....

If ya need anything, i'm here....

No, there is nothing in the inactive pills to worry about. They are just placebos and only put in their to try to keep people in the habit of taking a pill everyday so they don't forget when they need to start a new pack.

Your lateness is more than likely because you switched pills and your body is adjusting to them.
