Q: Protection At Once????

I have been taking logynon for two months straight now as I have been on antibiotics. I wanted to know why so many people are saying that you should take the pill for one month or longer before you are fully protected? Why does it say in the packet instructions that you are protected at once if you take the pill on the first day of your period as I have done?

Also I have been having brown spotting after starting my second pack? Could this be because I did not have a period? I also had unprotected sex 6 days into my pill packet

please help

Antibiotics decrease the effectiveness of most b.C. Methods....And you should always wait until at least one pack of pills before you can count your self fully protected...So their may be a chance of you being pregnant, the best way to find out is to take a test, a blood test would be the best because at home tests get confused due to birth control
